Why this exists
Most skincare answers online are buried under a 2,000-word blog post written to rank, not to help. We build the opposite: small, focused tools that take an input and return a measured answer. No fluff, no selling, no affiliate links.
How we calculate
Every tool is built on published dermatological and cosmetic-science sources. Where a calculation involves assumptions — burn time, absorption rates, percentage thresholds — we state them in plain language so you can see the reasoning, not just the result.
- Inputs are explicit. You see exactly what each answer depends on.
- Edge cases and cautions are flagged, never buried.
- Nothing is sold. There are no product recommendations or affiliate links.
Sources & citations
Each tool cites the science behind it. We prefer primary literature and consensus guidance over brand claims, and we update tools as the evidence changes.
No accounts, ever
SkinSorted has no signup, no login, and no database of your skin. The tools run in your browser. The site is supported by unobtrusive ads — never by selling you anything.
